Dance your way through September | Dance Lessons
An exciting opportunity exists to take part in a five-week program to learn how to dance to your favourite bands at this year’s Rock the Clock Festival in Camperdown
Frank Meade of Colac will be in Camperdown every Sunday during September to teach as many community members as possible to enjoy rock and roll dance.
Frank has been teaching people Rock n Roll dancing for decades.
Five Weeks to Rock
Get ready for Rock the Clock with beginners’ two-step and rock and roll.
This course will cover basic rhythm, footwork, moves and leading/following tips.
No experience is needed, although dancers from other genres will find the new steps and rhythms will extend their repertoire.
Partners are not necessary, although encouraged.
Footwear: leather-soled or smooth, hard-soled (not grippy rubber) shoes or boots.
Men, women and children are all welcome to take part in the Camperdown lessons.
The entire five-week program will cost just $40 per person. Alternatively the sessions will be $10 per session. Payment will be collected at the door, or payment for the five-week program can be made on our website.

The five consecutive Sunday lessons will take place on;
- September 1 at 2pm – 4pm
- September 8 at 2pm – 4pm
- September 15 at 2pm – 4pm
- September 22 at 2pm – 4pm
- September 39 at 2pm – 4pm
Experienced dancers are welcome at the Beginners lesson!
Lessons will be held at Old Stadium, 210 Manifold Street Camperdown (Entry via glass doors)
Rock the Clock will be held from October 24-27.
