State level Dance Competition & lessons to get you into the swing

This year’s Rock the Clock will host it’s first Dance Competition in conjunction with the Victorian Rock’n’Roll Dance Association, with $1000 prize money up for grabs. The competition will be held in the Theatre Royal on Saturday 26th October from 2pm.

Dancers of all levels are encouraged to enter for a nominal fee across a range of sections including: Junior Open (17 & Under), Beginners/Novice – all ages, Adult Intermediate & Advanced, 45 & Over, Adult Lifts, Triples – all ages, Adult & Child plus more. Spectators can watch the Dance Competition with their Festival Weekend Pass, or buy a day ticket to attend all three events held at the Theatre Royal also including the Best Dressed Competition and premier dance band The Fender Benders for $15.00. All three of these activities are sponsored and made possible thanks to The Camperdown Bakery.

Five dance lessons will be held across the Festival weekend, covering all levels and styles from swing to rock’n’roll to country two-step, to help you dance the weekend away – very inclusive and welcoming to help boost your confidence to get up and dance! Refer to the program for more details.
